Give Through Your IRA (Qualified Charitable Distribution)
If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your IRA to ALK Positive through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). This is a powerful way to support our mission while meeting your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
How it works
- You must be age 70½ or older
- You can give up to $111,000 each year from your IRA
- Your gift can satisfy all or part of your RMD
- You won’t pay income tax on the amount transferred
