When I was first diagnosed, I felt alone and completely overwhelmed. Lung cancer statistics were terrifying and I was struggling to move forward into such an uncertain future.
Joining the ALK Positive support group changed everything for me. I was able to meet others who could understand uniquely what I was going through- from weird side effects of treatments to the challenges of living with cancer. The support group helped empower me in a way that nothing else has. I am so grateful for my ALK Positive family.

National ALK Summits
Members are invited to an annual ALK-POSITIVE Lung Cancer summit. This event brings together top ALK doctors, researchers, lung cancer VIPS, and members.
In 2019, August 2-4th, we met in Atlanta, GA in the CNN building at the OMNI Hotel. Leading ALK RESEARCHERS and doctors attended, as well as more than 100 patients and caregivers. Some photos from the event are below.
